What makes El Roppo Glass Bullet Cones the best in the world? The answer to that is both simple and complex. The simple answer is literally everything and the complex part is explaining that. Every millimeter of our pre rolled cones are designed to be the best in every way. With over 3 years of research and development and after trying every pre roll, glass filter, and just about every paper in existence we created something very, very special.
The Glass Bullet Filter does things that no other filter can do. It has a bowl shape that allows material to be packed inside the filter and eliminates the ever so tragic limp cone syndrome. There is not much worse than a sloppy floppy cone. After the bowl is a narrow section that keeps the smoke condensed. This is also where the glass is the thickest. This part of the filter dramatically cools the smoke down, pulls out the impurities, and prevents the flower from getting through. After the narrow section the smoke is able to expand and cool down even more and greatly reduce impurities and harshness. After expansion the smoke is slightly condensed again to catch the smoke and cool it down and reduce more impurities and harshness right before being shot straight into your lungs. The results are crystal clear as seen in the picture above. You can see how the perfectly clear glass filter is completely dark brown after just one use. The glass bullet filter is also designed to allow the optional and adjustable aerator to go through the middle of it.
This unique design allows you to pack a cone like never before. If you are looking for the perfect hand rolled feel and smoke then pack 1.5 - 2 grams of flower plus concentrates if desired, with or without the aerator and you will have an amazing cone that smokes and feels like a perfectly hand rolled cone. If you are looking for something more like a cannagar then pack 4 grams of flower plus concentrates if desired and use the provided aerator. This will give you a 4+ gram coneagar that will not only burn for hours but it also provides a level of smoothness and flavor that cannot be replicated.
The optional and adjustable aerator helps create the perfect amount of airflow and keeps your flower tasting perfectly pure from the first puff all the way to the last. Thanks to the nice open middle created by the aerator the flower isn't getting harsher and harsher with every puff. Instead the flower stays fresh and tasty while the glass bullet filter does all the heavy lifting when it comes to catching all the impurities. The aerator can easily be adjusted to whatever length you prefer. It is recommended to only make the aerator smaller when packing 1.5 - 2 grams, otherwise airflow may be limited. The aerator should be easily removed through the bottom of the glass bullet when you are ready to light up. This is accomplished by pinching and pulling the protective cap off of the glass bullet. If there is resistance try giving the aerator a twist to loosen it up. The protective cap is not only there to keep the glass safe. It also helps keep the aerator stable and in place while packing and makes it much easier to remove the aerator.
After trying just about every rolling paper in the world we chose the papers that consistently burned the slowest, most even (no canoes), and most importantly showcased the flavors of the flower and concentrates the best. One of the chosen few are Elements Ultra Thin White Rice Papers featured in the Pure Perfection collection. Raw Classic Papers were chosen for our O.G. Hemp collection. Naked Brand Papers where chosen for our Crystal Clear collection and is made from natural plant cellulose. These naturally clear papers are extremely durable which make them a great choice when packing a coneagar. They also are absolutely tasteless which maximizes the flavors of the flower and concentrates you put in. We also have our very own custom pink and purple printed papers. They are printed with 100% natural soy ink and are a perfect way to brighten up any occasion.
The meticulously selected papers are hand rolled around each glass filter by The One & Only Grasshoppa's Team! Not enough can be said about how amazing The Grasshoppa & Team are! Even the placement of how much paper should be on the filter was given much consideration. The more paper on the filter the more durable the cone, however the less paper on the filter the better the smoke cools off. It took plenty of testing to find the perfect placement that allowed the cone to be very durable and the glass to do its magic of cooling the smoke down. The paper is then sealed with a little bit of natural glue and a beautiful cigar band to keep that paper perfectly placed around the glass filter.
The length of the cone along with the large 16mm wide opening was given plenty of consideration. The 16mm wide opening not only makes it very easy to pack, it is a the perfect size for adding any concentrates of your choice. I personally like to add live rosin and bubble hash to some 100% organic flower. The length of the cone is just right for long solo sessions or with friends.
When you put it all together its easy to understand why El Roppo brand cones are the best in the world. ORIGINS OF EL ROPPO
The name El Roppo was an easy choice for the brand. It all started when I moved back home to help take care of my grandfather. I used to roll up a blunt every day at the kitchen table. My grandfather was always so intrigued by the process and he would watch me roll up every time. I was using good old 2 for $.99 blunts back then. When I was done rolling he would always say it looked just like the cigars that my great grandpa Micco used to always smoke. He would tell me how he was always smoking or chewing on one all the time. He also said how it looked like a piece of rope hanging from his mouth and how he would always tease him for having a piece of rope hanging out of his mouth. Over time he began calling it his Roppo. After hearing all this I began to call anything and everything that had to do with cannabis El Roppo and vowed to one day have a cannabis brand named El Roppo.
Although I had a name for the brand at the time I was no where near close to having a cannabis brand. The idea to start a cannabis accessory would come a few year later. At the time I was day trading cryptos and become tired of the lack of sleep thanks to the crypto markets never closing. I wanted to make a change but had no clue of what to do and since we were living in North Carolina I felt like a cannabis brand was not an option. After a lot of complaining about it all I was challenged to come up with a business that was still in the realm of cannabis even though we lived in a state that was not legal recreationally or medically. I of course took that challenge head on, the first area I looked at was smoke shops. I quickly realized that there is one or two in just about every plaza and did not want to compete with the already established stores. This did give me the idea to come up with something to supply to all the smoke shops in the area.
I started to visit all the local smoke shops around me and was very overwhelmed at first. The first thing that stood out to me was all the really cool glass bongs, rigs, and pipes. I thought these are awesome but they are expensive and there seems to already be a ton of them in every shop. At the time I had finally stopped rolling up 2 for $.99 cigars and was using the firefly 2. This led me to look at possibly coming up with my own vaporizer. I quickly decided that this wasn't the route for me either. Due to the fact that there were already so many in each shop and the firefly was great but I still missed hitting a blunt. I really wasn't sure were there was an opportunity. Until one day it hit me, I was standing at shop that had a massive wall of cigars. So many different brands and so many different types and flavors it was crazy. I then looked at what the options were for someone like myself who was looking for a healthier and nicotine free option. The selection was super limited especially considering the massive wall of cheap cigars. I had tried the standard pre rolled cones before and felt like I was wasting weed. At that moment it hit me, I need to make much better options for people like myself that like to smoke blunts but are looking for a healthier option.
After deciding to start a pre roll brand and obviously call it El Roppo it was time to get to work. I was on a mission to make the world's best pre rolled cones. After testing out just about every rolling paper in existence for things like taste, durability, burn rate, and burning evenly the two papers that stood out the most were Elements Ultra Thin White Rice Papers and RAW Classic Papers. At the time I saw that glass filters had become a thing. At the time the how to videos told you to take your standard cardboard filtered cone and place it inside of the glass filter. This seemed silly to me, I thought why not just wrap the paper around the glass filter and get rid of the nasty cardboard all together. I started rolling my own cones around various types of glass filters and quickly realized that I come up with something amazing. I started to call on companies to get them made. This was a tough time due to everyone telling me that it wasn't possible. After trying and trying and trying to get them made through various companies I finally found the amazing and one and only Grasshoppa who agreed to take on the impossible project. After almost 2 years of working together we were able to put together the most amazing pre rolls in the world.
